Reflection:
What a surprise it must have been to you Mary, when the angel Gabriel appeared before you! He had such a message from God for you … that He wanted you to bear his Son Jesus. And you gracefully said yes “ … let it be with me according to your word”.
Prayer:
Dear Father God, we thank you for Mary and for her “Yes” to your plan for salvation and the coming birth of your beloved Son Jesus Christ, our saviour and redeemer. We thank you for Joseph her husband who loved, helped and supported her in their lives together … the Holy Family. Amen
