Glorious Risen Christ

Glorious Risen Christ

Bible reference:

Luke 24: 5

“…Why do you look for the living among the dead?  He is not here, but has risen”.

Reflection:

Jesus died on the cross and was buried in a tomb.  But, on the third day, he rose from the dead.  This is called the Resurrection of Jesus.  His body no longer lay, dead, in the tomb – He had risen!  And He is alive and with us today.

Prayer:

Jesus, you were the first person to rise from the dead.  You have conquered death.  Because of you we have been saved and redeemed and we can look forward with hope to a new life with God in heaven when we die.  Lord Jesus, we thank you.  Amen.
