Refection:
At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came down on the apostles in the form of tongues of fire, which rested on the heads of those present and at Jesus’ own baptism the Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove. The Holy Spirit is here with us always, encouraging us in our journey through life.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, we welcome you into our lives. We ask you to be with us every day, leading, guiding and blessing us with your seven holy gifts; the gifts of wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety and fear (awe) of the Lord. Amen.
